Designed, tested, and 100% skateboarding approved by Emerica pro Leo Romero, this updated version of the Emerica classic Laced features a low profile cupsole for increased boardfeel, Emerica Triangle Tread pattern with high-density rubber heel drag pod for maximum grip and durability, and a tongue stabilizing wing for a snug fit if you decide to grind up a rail. Boo-yeah!
Got a very similar shoe from you guys, same size officially but this one is way narrower. They're visibly smaller when looking at the side by side.
Great shoe. Buy it!
I actually got these shoes for running….kidding, forget running! These shoes are great for skating strait out the box. I’ve been a fan of the Figgy 1’s for a long time. Decided to switch it up and try out these Romero’s. Why wouldn’t I? Leo is the man, always has been, still is. And we share the same last name so having that on the tongue is a +. Only thing I noticed was the achilles is a little thinner than the Figgy’s on the back but it hasn’t been a big deal. The long front begs to be kickflipped every which way. Go out there and get you some. Thanks Emerica. Thank you skateboarding!
Slim design but goes HARD
Ever since I started skating E’s I’ve been hard pressed to find other shoes that give me the board feel and control that they do. Being a cupsole fan, I gotta say these cupsoles are PERFECT. They’re the lowest profile cups out there which gives them insane boardfeel and control, but still holds up strong when you inevitably land primo and guillotine your feet.
The Romero is so far another model I can add from Emerica that I can say gives you Diamond level skill perks. Suede all the way around with just enough inner wall cushioning to make my feet feel heavy duty.
Don’t trip, trust me and get a pair foo
Nice and good looking sneaker
I wouldn't use it to skate but I as a casual shoe to walk around and especially for drumming, it is a fabulous shoe. The tight fit is awesome for that. Plus I really loive the loooks
