BORN IN THE EARLY 2000’S, THE HERITIC WAS INTRODUCED TO OFFER A BASIC YET TECHNICAL SILHOUETTE DESIGNED FOR EVERYDAY SKATEBOARD USE. IN THE YEARS FOLLOWING, THE HERITIC 2 AND HERITIC 3 WOULD EXPAND UPON THE SHOE’S LEGACY AS AN ESSENTIAL FOR THE CORE SKATEBOARDER. THE NEWLY REMASTERED HERITIC BRINGS BACK KEY ATTRIBUTES AND STYLING DETAILS FROM THE HERITIC, HERITIC 2, AND HERITIC 3. FEATURING A DOUBLE-STITCHED TPR TOE CAP FOR DURABILITY, A FULL RUBBER CUPSOLE, AND AN EVA FOAM FOOTBED WITH ARCH SUPPORT FOR COMFORT.
HERITIC they say, HA! Try "My new favorite riff on the Reynolds I-III!" Which by the by was the single best series of models they made (shout-out to the old EE Model as notable contender.) Gonna buy so many pairs.
When I saw those, I got super happy because they reminded me of The Reynolds and always wanted a pair. They fit true to size. I put them on as soon they were delivered and right away I started feeling a piece of material bending outward like it was pressing on the right toe. I thought after breaking them in for a few days or week, it would go away, but It was getting somewhat worse whenever I put them on. And I don’t think Emerica would accept returns from wearing them the day they were delivered until now. I didn’t skate in them or anything, just by simply walking, it started happening. I own so many pairs of shoes and never had this happened, perhaps I have to break in the right shoe after two months? Idk. I wanted to give these shoes 5 stars because of the nostalgia and how awesome they look, but due to that problem with the right shoe, I’ll give it a two. Maybe I’ll get another pair
It's cupsole has no midsole ,insole is just a flat insole, looking good shoes yes , very nice but disappointed on its sole construction without midsole, heel bruise for sure
This shoe is amazing! Great comfort, shape, and tremendous grip on the board. I have never tried this shoe before and I'm sold. The all day comfort i get a well as the shape and look of the shoe is sick. They also skate extremely well. I will definitely be getting another pair of heretics. I work at Woodward park city, so I walk, stand, jump, skate, and am on my feet actively all day. These shoes are a perfect fit and I am very stoked I chose this model!!! 5 stars 🌟
The look and feel of these are so great. I agree with the comments of upgrading the midsole. If so, I would continue to buy and skate these for sure.
Love the heretic, great build quality, nice board feel, and comfortable. I love the extra flip/ollie wear zone reinforcing. They could be perfect though if they had removable insoles for a bit more impact protection, and offered offered lace protection with recessed holes or a Hoban style lace cover. All in all though, one of my favorites.
Cool to wear the Heretic again. Had these 20 years ago. Looks awesome in black imo. Reynolds /kirchart vibes.
Fits just right, and I have kind of wide problematic feet. Board feel is more than ok but not like vulc of course. Still ok though.
BUT. Like other people said, the insole/midsole is
****. Have skated them couple sessions and now my heels hurt after. And I only skate low impact stuff..
With vulc I can understand, but for cupsoles this is kind of unacceptable. Especially for 90€.
I can see the egg crate pattern through the insole, come on..
This shoe needs an update to g6 or at least better insoles/midsoles.
Make it happen Emerica!!!

These shoes are a pretty good quality, I love how they look too, but right shoe is slightly narrow for my wide foot compared to Volcanos which are perfectly comfortable left and right and wider in general !
I’m not sure if this is by design or an imperfection in the sole making process, but the left shoe on my size 8 is skinnier than the right one. Which is making it hard to get used too. Maybe you make the left shoe smaller on purpose?
