These are one of the best skate shoes I've ever had and one of my favorite Emerica creations. I've bought 4 pairs because you don't get a shoe with this degree of balanced elements often. Not to thin or chunky - just right in the middle. Solid grip, and these actually hold up well too. I hope these never fall out of production!

Great shoe all around!

I really love these shoes, they don’t wear down very fast, they have good support and protection with the mid design and the insole that does a great job of absorbing shock. For anyone wondering, I feel like they run true to size. I wear a 9.5 in vans and most other shoes, I bought a 9.5 and they fit well once they broke in. Definitely give them a shot, especially when they go on sale!

Shoes are comfy and true to size. My Son loves them. He is a big fan of Emerica. They are his favorite brand of shoe. Thanks for always having great shoes.

They made suttle changes to the First Pillar shoes that make them slightly less comfortable straight outta the box but still not bad. I really just don't like how they're loose on the heels now because they cut out a chunk of the mid-top on the back-ends. Yet it makes them easy to slip on and off without relacing the shoes, not that it was ever an issue with the First edition. Overall good shoe but they fixed stuff that wasn't broke and it made them less worthy of a high-rating in the end. Used to be 5-star shoes. Now its a 4-star shoe.

These are sold as the Pillar shoes but they aren't the same Pillars I got a few years ago, the style is very similar except on the back end by the heel its cut out for I guess better tip-toeing or whatever. Sadly that one cut out makes the shoe feel loose on the heels and my feet can easily slip out of them. They aren't as secure as the previous run and as a result they aren't as comfortable either. They're also notably stiffer than the last couple pairs I bought. I'm honestly a little disappointed because prior to the small changes they made I couldn't name a better shoe. Now I can name a few. Hence the 3 stars. Still nice shoes but I can see why the price had dropped so much. They feel like knock-offs.

Please take my money. If you want to release a series two please do it with the original design. I'll buy them both.

Probably the most comfortable pair or emericas ever. And slick too. Definitely tied for my favorite with Dickson.
