Insane amounts of toe padding makes the front inside of the shoe super cushioned, but the back is way less padded so my heels angle downwards and my toes set up higher, resulting in foot pain after wearing them for an extended period of time. Just buy a pair of The Low Vulc and call it good, leave these shoes to Provost. Never had this problem with a shoe before.

Best shoe ever. This is my 6th pair and I hope this shoe is here forever so I can keep buying them. 10/10 five star top shelf stuff.

Besides the obviously good features like the rubberized ollie patch; the foxing tape on the toes of the shoes are slightly taller than that of other vulcs I've tried in the past. I LOVED this. I've tried (mostly unsuccessfully) a thousand kickflip variations and still haven't worn out the toe. Also the elastic that holds the tongue in place is a very nice feature that I would like to see on some of Emerica's other models. The vulcanized outsole meets expectations. My only complaints are a lack of padding around the collar (my heelflip consistency has been down), there isn't any breathability so my feet sweat a lot, and that my shoelaces take more abrasion than I would like. I do recommend them, however. I'd even buy another pair some day.
